A Portrait of Mississippi

This book which is written in the area of poverty and inequality relating to the US society, discusses some of the social and economic issues regarding the story of the failure of Mississippi in becoming the last ranked US state in the American Human Development Index. The authors of the book are Burd-Sharps, Sarah Lewis, Kristen and Martins, Eduardo Borges. This is as a result of an analysis composed and commissioned by the Mississippi State Conference NAACP. It was organized by country, gender, and race as part of the stimulation of proper and strong action towards the development of the Mississippian society.

A New Start

The information movement where there are billions of pages of information created each day by thousands and millions of people has to be captured in a dialectic manner. Of course many of these writings are in the form of books which makes it even more difficult to absorb the material. Since you have to buy the book, read it, and then put it in some place where you don't fill bad, it is important to find better ways of absorbing knowledge that is created through books. The important thing is the knowledge gained and the process of knowledge creation. This blog tries to provide a standpoint where books in the area of social science mostly economics, sociology, and philosophy are reviewed each day. I hope this could be a good start for a better understanding between individuals, social groups, organizations, and countries all around the world. Thanks.
